  • 1973 to Present: Full Time Employment with Pepsi-Cola Company - - Lead Technical Service Manager

  • 1974-1978: Began working at the Reading Fairgrounds Speedway, Reading, PA in capacity of Race Official.

  • 1978-1995 Bridgeport Speedway: Official, Media & Public Relations working for George Wingate.

  • 1979 to 2005: Super DIRT Week event in Syracuse, NY, working in media relations.

  • 1982-1990: Worked in Media Relations at the Pocono Raceway for the Race of Champions.

  • 1983-1985: Media Director/Race Director for MODCAR, a traveling modified stock car series.

  • 1985 to Present: Media Director, Race Director & Club Officer of the United Racing Club Sprint Car Series, the nation's oldest traveling sprint car club..

  • 1986 to Present: Miller began the successful Reading Racing Reunion & Car Show, presented at the Fairgrounds Square Mall in Reading, PA. . . the site of the former Reading Fairgrounds Speedway.

  • 1988 Miller introduces URC to corporate sponsorship, Kendall Motor Oil named URC Tour Sponsor. In 1990, Miller brings a financially successful Pace Car sponsorship to URC with Liberty Pontiac.

  • 1989 Miller organizes a two race Canadian Tour for URC with stops at Drummondville and Granby.

  • 1990 to Present: Miller created the Thunder on the Hill Racing Series joining forces with Grandview Speedway owner Bruce Rogers. This series features special events to showcase the 410 Sprints, World of Outlaws, DIRT Modifieds, Midgets and a wide variety of special events.

  • 1990 Miller has a list of sponsors, offering a URC record high $30,000 point fund that include DL Motors, Taylor & Messick, Hatboro Maintenance, EAFCO as well as the Triple Crown Championship and the first ever URC Sprint Twin 12's at Bridgeport.

  • 1993: First time ever. . . Bob Miller worked with SCRA (Sprint Car Racing Association) of Southern California and lured this wingless sprint car group form California to Pennsylvania for a five race series.

  • 1994: Miller brings URC to Grandview for a return to wingless sprint car racing.

  • 1994-2007: Miller strikes a deal between URC & ESS to start a Sprint Challenge Series between the two organizations. The Series draws large car counts at Dundee, NY and SeaCoast Speedway in Delaware.

  • 1997: URC celebrated their 50th season of presenting sprint car racing. In celebration, Miller organized a URC event at the Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway, the first race of a series that continues today and is known as. . . The Tournament of Champions, a nationally known 360 sprint car racing event.

  • 1998: Bob Miller/Thunder on the Hill receive Best Specialty Series Award presented by Open Wheel Magazine- -Daytona Beach, FL

  • 2001: National Sprint Car Hall of Fame Knoxville, Iowa- -Nominates Bob Miller as 410 Sprint Promoter of the Year.

  • 2001: Miller receives the Bob Pouleson Award- - CFFC

  • 2002: Miller receives the Harry Johnson URC Founders Award

  • 2001: Present- -Miller started the BIG SHOW Racing Series. These special events are promoted as "really big shows" and have been very successful at Grandview Speedway, Bridgeport Speedway, Delaware International, New Egypt and Big Diamond Raceway.

  • 2003: Miller booked the Super DIRT Series Modifieds for their first ever appearance at the Big Diamond Raceway in Minersville, PA. The event was wildly successful and took place again in 2004.

  • 2003 November: DIRT announces Bob Miller to oversee DIRT Southeast Big Block Modified Touring Series.

  • 2003 December: National Sprint Car Hall of Fame names Bob Miller as the 360 Sprint Car Promoter of the Year.

  • 2004 DIRT Southeast Series completed a twelve race schedule that visited Hagerstown, Big Diamond, Grandview, Bridgeport and Delaware International Speedway. A point fund of $12,500 was distributed with 151 drivers competing in the Series. Jeff Strunk was the Series Champion.

  • 2005 Miller becomes co-owner of the URC Sprints, transitioning the United Racing Club into the United Racing Company.

  • 2006 Thunder on the Hill pays out a four race purse of $280,000.

  • 2007 concluded the 18th season of Thunder on the Hill with 79 events presented since 1990, paying a total purse in excess of $2.6 million dollars.

  • 2007 Miller works with Hagerstown and Big Diamond Raceway to bring the USAC National Sprint Tour to Grandview and the East.

  • 2007 Miller unites Grandview, Bridgeport and New Egypt Speedway's to form a three race FAN FUN Nights Promotion.

  • 2007 Miller joins RFRHS Reading Fairgrounds Racing Historical Society as Race Director at the New Reading Fairgrounds for the Slingshot Nostalgia Nationals

  • 2008 Miller presents the 1st Annual Dirt Track Heroes & Car Show at the Phillipsburg Mall in Phillipsburg, NJ.  The event is wildly successful.
