Chelsea Lynn Miller of
Langhorne, PA judged the winner
and picking up $1,500 for her
winning efforts. The 5’7” blonde
beauty who works as a
cosmetologist was making her
first start in the competition.

Exposition
Weedsport, NY – March 11, 2006 –
By Tom Skibinski, DIRT NorthEast
PR Director
Chelsea Miller is already
preparing to do 'double duty'
during Super DIRT Week XXXV
after she was crowned Ms. DIRT
MotorSports 2006 in the annual
contest sponsored by Leaf
Racewear during the Gater Racing
News Motorsports Expo on
Saturday at the New York State
Fairgrounds in Syracuse. For the
past four seasons Miller has
provided solo performances of
our national anthem during Super
DIRT Week. This October she will
also be posing for pictures as
she represents DIRT MotorSports
NorthEast after earning the
ninth Ms. DIRT title.
"It's really exciting to start
out the season winning this
title, being around the DIRT
circuit for so many years I'm
all ready to go," said Miller,
18, from Langhorne, Pa.,
daughter of veteran special
events race promoter Bob Miller.
The previous eight Ms. DIRT
winners have represented New
York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania
and Delaware, with Miller
joining Ms. DIRT 2000 Mandy
Fenstermacher as the only other
Keystone State entry to wear the
crown.
The Ms. DIRT MotorSports contest
was held for the seventh
straight year during Gater's
popular Motorsports Expo in the
'Salt City.' Reigning queen
Jackie Cecile was in attendance
at the Cargill Exhibit Center on
March 11 to crown Miller as the
newest winner of DIRT's most
prized pageant.
With a number of trackside
appearances waiting to be
confirmed throughout the
upcoming summer months, along
with Super DIRT Week, Miller has
already penciled in plans to
attend additional Advance Auto
Parts Modified Super DIRT Series
events, with World of Outlaws
Sprint and Late Model Series
specials sure to highlight her
agenda in between. Her father
has already inked the date of
July 19 to promote the Advance
Auto Parts SDS showdown at
Grandview Speedway in her
homestate.
"I'm ready to do as much as I
can for the drivers, race fans
and DIRT, and help promote
racing wherever and whenever I
can," said Miller, a 5'7",
hazel-eyed blonde-haired beauty,
who is also scheduled to present
awards during the 31st annual
DIRT MotorSports NorthEast
Awards Banquet in November. She
is currently a hair stylist and
cosmotologist, holding higher
aspirations of becoming an
actress. "I've been going to
races as long as I can remember
and singing at a lot of them for
awhile now. Syracuse and
Grandview are still my favorite
tracks and Brett Hearn (DIRT
Modified), Curt Michael (URC
Sprint) and Kasey Kahne (Nextel
Cup) are the drivers I like
best."
Despite her young age, Miller
carries years of experience that
afford her veteran status in the
entertainment industry. Aside
from entering numerous local and
regional singing competitions
along with making select
trackside appearances, she first
appeared publicly on the Al
Alberts Showcase TV program at
the age of three. She performed
on stage in Philadelphia with
Carley Simon in Concert four
years later and first joined her
sister Deven on the Super DIRT
Week podium to sing the anthem
in 1998.
More recently, Chelsea has been
performing in musicals at
regional professional theatres
and high school productions. In
2004 Chelsea released her first
CD with a pair of original
singles and by the time the
first green flag waved to open
Super DIRT Week '04, a second CD
was in progress with two more
songs.
With seven entries taking center
stage for 'Clubwear' and
'Sportswear' competition plus a
question/answer session, Miller
outscored runner-up Stacy
Bloomer, 20, from Marion, N.Y.
and third-place finisher Jamie
Toth, 22, from Syracuse to earn
the top prize. Paul Latella,
Director of Sales and Promotions
for Leaf Racewear made the
presentation.
The DIRT MotorSports™ Advance
Auto Parts Modified Series is
brought to fans across the
Northeast by several sponsors
and partners, including series
sponsors Advance Auto Parts,
Hoosier Racing Tire and Sunoco
Race Fuels. Promotional partners
include AMB i.t., F.X. Caprara
Car Companies and the University
of Northwestern Ohio and the
