(Tuesday, March 09, 2010) - ~ At age 59, Kramer Williamson of Palmyra, PA is a well accomplished sprint car driver, but his career is not over yet.   Williamson, the winner of sixty-seven URC sprint car features and a long, long list of victories and championships in the Central PA 410 Sprint Car ranks, will be back in action with the Rislone URC Sprint Series this season.   Along with his feature win list, Kramer was the URC Champion in 1991, 1992 and in 1995.  In 1991 and '95, he earned the URC Triple Crown Championship as well. ... more

NICK SCHLAUCH JR PLANS BIG RETURN TO URC IN 2010

URC COMPETITORS MEETING SET FOR SUNDAY, MARCH 14
(Saturday, February 20, 2010) - ~ The Clarion Hotel in New Castle, DE will host the URC Spring Competitors Meetings on Sunday, March 14 starting at 1 PM.   Prior to the Competitors Meeting,  a special Rookie Driver Orientation will take place starting at 12 Noon.   Rookie drivers planning to compete with URC in 2010, are encouraged to attend the Rookie Orientation that reviews in detail, race procedures, handicapping, on the track and pit side conduct.     URC drivers will be present at the Rookie Orientation to discuss car set-ups for the various tracks and to help the new competitors prepare for a safe start to their new venture.  The URC Rookie Orientation is credited for ... more

RISLONE URC SPRINT SERIES SCHEDULE RELEASED FOR 2010
(Tuesday, January 19, 2010) - ~ The Rislone URC Sprint Series for 2010 currently has twenty-six race dates planned for 2010 season with the possibility of two additional shows to be added at a later date.   The 63rd season of URC will open at the Bridgeport Speedway on April 10 and close at the Grandview Speedway on Saturday, October 16 with the Annual Grandview Thunder features only event.

URC TO INVADE CAYUGA COUNTY FAIR SPEEDWAY FRIDAY NIGHT, OCTOBER 9 FOR NEW YORK SPRINT CHALLENGE
(Monday, October 05, 2009) - ~ $3,000 is up for grabs  Friday night, October 9 in the New York Sprint Challenge taking place at the Cayuga County Fair Speedway in Weedsport, NY.   Since the beginning of this event in 1994, the New York Sprint Challenge has taken place at the Rolling Wheels Raceway in Elbridge, NY, but in 2009, the show will move the Cayuga County.  More then seventy sprint cars turned out for the show  sanctioned by the United Racing Company last year and the turnout is expected to be big this year as well.    In 2008, Curt Michael won the event with an exciting last lap pass on Trevor Lewis.  Both Michael and Lewis are entries for the event on Friday night.  ... more
